Grand Canal
The Grand Canal of China, also known as the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, is the largest ancient canal or artificial river in the world. Although the oldest parts of the canal date back to the 5th century BC, it was finished 606 AD and reconstructed in 1415. It is 1930 KM long, passes through Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu and Zhejiang.
