Pan Gate is a famous historical landmark in Suzhou. Originally built during the Warring States Period in the state of Wu, historians estimate it to be around 2,500 years old. It was served as a military castle and refurbished for tourists. It is the only amphibian city gate in Suzhou. You can visit it by foot or sight seeing boat.
