Kunming, the capital of Yunnan, known as the "city of Eternal spring", is located in the middle of Yunnan plateau, 1895 meters above sea level. Subtropical Kunming lies on the edge of lake Dianchi, China's sixth largest, with the mountains holding the city like a bowl. Her proudest attraction is her benevolent climate.
