Hupao Spring Park
Hupao Spring is at the foot of Daci Hill, five kilometers away from Hangzhou city, which stretches between West Lake and the Qiantang River. The Hupao Spring (Tiger-Running Spring) takes its name from a legend. The story tells a dream about two tigers who ran to the apparently near desert area and dug a hole which caused the spring to gush forth. In Hangzhou, Longjing (Dragon Well) tea and Hupao (Tiger Running) fountain bring out the best in each other and are acknowledged as 'two wonders of West Lake'.

This park is famous for its water that will not overflow from a full cup even if you add coins to it. The high surface tension will also support a carefully placed Chinese coin.
