Wolong National Nature Reserve
Wolong National Nature Reserve is situated in 50 km west of Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It covers an area of 200 thousand square hectares and houses about 300 giant pandas. Furthermore, it has many endangered animals such as the red panda, the snow leopard and clouded leopard.

Wolong National Nature Reserve was built in 1963, and joined the Human and Biosphere Protective Zone Net of UNESCO, and built Chinese protecting Giant panda Research Center in the cooperation of world wilding Animals Fund. With the enough rainfall and fresh air, there is beautiful scenery and abundant propagation resources. With a good deal of wilding giant pandas inhabited, wolong is renowned as "the Hometown of Giant panda", "Natural propagation Zoo". Together with some other nature reserves and nine scenic parks in the Qionglai and Jiajin Mountains, it was recognized as a world nature heritage site in 2006.
